Sex Work
(November Reading Group) Sex work has been a topic of discussion on the left for decades, but with the recent legislation of SESTA/FOSTA many see a need for a renewed militancy towards sex workers rights. At the most recent bi-annual DSA convention, DSA endorsed the decriminalization of sex work. But what is decriminalization, and why should we advocate for it over legalization? Why should socialists advocate for sex workers rights? We will discuss these questions and more through a discussion of the following articles.
